IFS offers the equipment and experience to handle the full cycle, from ground preparation through to silage harvest and grain freight. We work with livestock producers, grain growers and mixed enterprises across the Boorowa, Binalong, Harden, Young and wider NSW.

Precision Chop Silage
Silage is the core of the IFS operation. We run a CLAAS Jaguar 950 forage harvester and back it up with genuine silage science. IFS uses Lallemand products and draws on Lallemand product specialists for advice on animal feeding solutions. This means every cut has the option of best-practice inoculant application, improving fermentation, reducing dry matter losses and maximising nutritional value. We chop for dairy, beef and sheep producers across NSW and advise on timing, DM% targets and inoculant selection, not just harvesting.Â

Crop & Pasture Planting
We run a John Deere 9420R with a John Deere 1870 Air seeder for canola, cereals and undersown pastures establishment and cover crop planting. We plant cereals, annual pastures, permanent pastures and cover crops. We work with clients and their agronomists to make sure seed rates, planting depth and timing is accurate.Â

Spraying
Pre-emergent and post-emergent crop spraying, pasture renovation spraying and fallow work. We operate a Goldacres 6830 with a 30m boom, a purpose-built spray rig designed for accuracy and coverage efficiency. Working with your agronomist we handle the logistics of chemical planning and application rates. If you're unsure what you need, we can work through that with you.

Ground Preparation
Seedbed preparation and pasture renovation tillage using a Brookfield disc chain at 13m and or a Horsch tiger . Used ahead of planting for paddocks coming out of annual or permanent pasture, stubble management and clodbreaking after primary cultivation. We match cultivation intensity to the job. When a paddock needs to be worked, we get it done properly.

Grain Freight
Cartage from paddock to receival point, silo or grower storage using a Mack truck & dog with scales. Used in harvest logistics when you need another set of hands getting grain off paddock or moved around the property.
