IFS operates with a small, experienced core team. During silage season and seeding runs, we take on additional operators and crew to meet demand across our client base.
When the season is on, the work comes in fast. We take on experienced operators and crew during our peak periods - people who know their way around large machinery, can work long days, and get on with the job. We're not a large employer, but if the fit is right, we come back to the same people season after season.
What we're looking for
Experience
CLAAS, John Deere and Goldacres experience preferred. We operate in peak conditions and need people who know their way around high-spec machinery. Precision matters - we don't just 'get it done,' we do it properly.
Honest & reliable
We run to tight windows. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable. Our clients depend on our timing, so we need to depend on yours.
A good work ethic
Early starts, long days and variable conditions are part of the job. We look for individuals who are motivated, self-starters, and can handle long runs during peak season with a positive mindset.
Useful to have
We'd love to see:
HC heavy vehicle licence
Chemical application certification (ChemCert)
General mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic field repairs
Experience with GPS guidance systems (John Deere )
First Aid certification
